Integration Consultant (MuleSoft / Boomi)
Design and deliver integrations across enterprise estates, and help clients get off legacy middleware.
The role
Integration is one of our strongest practices and one of the scarcest skill sets in the market. You will design and build integrations on modern platforms, and lead migrations off legacy middleware that clients can no longer support.
What you will do
- Design API-led integrations and deliver them on MuleSoft Anypoint or Boomi
- Lead migrations from legacy platforms – Cast Iron, older Oracle SOA, TIBCO – onto current ones
- Model canonical data and design error handling, retries and reconciliation that hold up in production
- Advise clients on platform selection honestly, including when their existing platform is fine
What we are looking for
- Four or more years delivering enterprise integrations
- Deep hands-on with at least one of MuleSoft or Boomi, and willingness to work across both
- Strong grasp of REST and SOAP, authentication patterns and message-level security
- Able to run a design workshop with client architects
Nice to have
- IBM MQ, ACE or DataPower administration
- EDI experience – X12 or EDIFACT, AS2, partner onboarding
- Apigee or another API management platform
