The role
We are looking for a Java Backend Developer with strong hands-on experience in Rust to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.
What you will do
- Developing server-side logic. Writing code that runs on the server to process data, apply business logic, and manage database interactions.
- Creating APIs. Building RESTful or GraphQL APIs that frontend applications (like web or mobile apps) use to communicate with the backend.
- Managing databases. Writing code to store, retrieve, and update data in databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Ensuring security and performance. Implementing secure coding practices and optimizing backend performance for fast response times.
- Integrating third-party services. Connecting the application with external APIs or tools like payment gateways, authentication systems, etc.
What we are looking for
- 8+ years of strong Java backend development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Rust and Rust-based backend development.
- Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Microservices, and distributed systems.
- Experience with concurrency, multithreading, performance optimization, and memory management.
- Strong knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases and data-intensive applications.
- Experience with Kafka or similar messaging systems.
- Strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and cloud platforms.
- Good understanding of system design, scalability, reliability, and security.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
